Fleet Week's "A Salute To Our Heroes"

Bollotta Entertainment created and produced the USO Show entitled "A Salute To Our Heroes," for San Diego's Fleet Week Foundation. Written by Anthony Bollotta, the performance included America's favorite standards such as the "Chattanooga Choo-Choo", "I'll Be Seeing You", "Accentuate The Positive" and "Sentimental Journey". The show also featured Joe Raposo's "America Is," written to celebrate the anniversary of the Statue of Liberty and Betty Hutton's comedy song entitled "I'm Doin' It For Defense".

Comprised of 8 professional singers, including the hilarious Eileen Bowman and enchanting Susan De Leon, the show featured Bollotta's own Chris Thomas and Anthony Bollotta. Off-Broadway composer and lyricist Rayme Sciaroni provided the show's musical accompaniment.

"A Salute To Our Heroes" was performed in conjunction with Fleet Week 2008 for a military audience, San Diego politicians, and corporate friends. During the show, Fleet Week Foundation's Steve Cushman and Bill Hall presented the organization's Hall of Fame Awards as the cast performed incidental renditions of "America The Beautiful" and "God Bless America".
